Author Guidelines & Publishing Policies

Complete instructions for preparing, submitting, and publishing manuscripts with the International Journal of Digital Intelligence and Computing (JDIC).

1. Manuscript Preparation

Authors are requested to prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the journal's prescribed template and formatting requirements. Submissions should be original, unpublished, and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

2. Types of Manuscripts Accepted

The journal welcomes the following types of scholarly submissions:

  • Original Research Articles
  • Review Articles
  • Short Communications
  • Technical Notes
  • Case Studies
  • Interdisciplinary Research Papers

3. Language Requirements

Manuscripts must be written in clear and grammatically correct English. Authors are encouraged to proofread their manuscripts thoroughly before submission. Papers should be concise, coherent, and technically sound throughout all sections.

4. Manuscript Formatting Guidelines

The manuscript should include the following standard sections:

• Title of the Paper
• Author Name(s) and Affiliation(s)
• Abstract (150–250 words)
• Keywords (4–6 keywords)
• Introduction
• Literature Review (if applicable)
• Methodology / Materials & Methods
• Results and Discussion
• Conclusion
• Acknowledgments (Optional)
• References

Note: Authors must use the journal's prescribed manuscript template for submission.

5. Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should clearly summarize the objectives, methodology, key findings, and conclusions of the study (150–250 words). Authors should provide 4–6 relevant keywords immediately below the abstract to facilitate online indexing.

6. Figures, Tables, and Equations

All figures and tables must be clearly labeled, titled, and numbered consecutively. Images should be of high resolution suitable for publication. Mathematical equations should be properly formatted using MathType/Equation Editor and numbered consecutively in parentheses. Authors are responsible for obtaining copyright permission to reproduce any copyrighted graphics.

7. Citation and References

References must be complete, accurate, and consistently formatted according to the journal's prescribed reference style. Authors are strongly encouraged to cite recent, peer-reviewed, and high-impact literature relevant to their domain.

8. Submission Guidelines

Before submitting, authors should verify that:

  • The manuscript is original and unpublished.
  • The manuscript falls within the official scope of JDIC.
  • All co-authors have reviewed and approved the submitted version.
  • The manuscript complies with all formatting guidelines.
  • Necessary permissions have been obtained for third-party materials.

9. Plagiarism Policy

JDIC maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts undergo similarity screening using automated anti-plagiarism tools prior to peer review. Manuscripts containing plagiarism, self-plagiarism, data fabrication, or unethical content will be rejected immediately at any stage of the publication process.

10. Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure scientific quality and academic integrity:

11. Publication Ethics

Authors are expected to submit authentic research, properly acknowledge previous literature through correct citations, refrain from data fabrication or manipulation, and disclose any potential conflicts of interest. JDIC adheres strictly to COPE guidelines.

12. Authorship Policy

All listed authors must have made substantial contributions to the conception, design, data collection, analysis, or manuscript drafting. Any change in authorship after initial submission must be formally approved by all co-authors and the editorial office.

13. Conflict of Interest Policy

Authors must explicitly declare any financial, personal, or professional relationships that could influence the outcome of the research. If no conflict exists, authors should state: "The authors declare that there are no conflicts of interest."

14. Revision Guidelines

When revisions are requested, authors should address all reviewer comments point-by-point in a response letter. Modifications in the revised manuscript should be highlighted or clearly tracked.

15. Acceptance and Publication

A manuscript is accepted for publication only after successfully completing peer review, resolving all reviewer suggestions, and receiving final editorial board approval.

16. Copyright Policy

Authors retain responsibility for the originality of their research. Upon acceptance, licensing agreement details are communicated to authors prior to official release.

17. Open Access Policy

JDIC is committed to immediate global dissemination of scientific knowledge under Creative Commons Open Access licensing, enabling free downloading, reading, and academic sharing.

18. Retraction and Correction Policy

The journal reserves the right to issue formal errata/corrections or retract published papers in transparent accordance with international publication ethics guidelines if severe errors or misconduct occur.
